Time is Running Out...

As of this morning, there are less than 3 days left to file. Even with the added pressure, don't let the short time frame hinder you from gathering all the appropriate and necessary documentation for your tax filing. The only thing more stressful than crunch time is the amendment you'll have to do later on if you missed some things the first time you filed. It's okay to be pressed for time as long as you push right back.
As always remember, it's not the end of the line. If you aren't able to have everything together by the 15th, you can always file an extension that will give you until October 15th to finalize the returns. Sometimes it's better to file the extension if you feel you are unprepared. However, do keep in mind, if you owe taxes then the taxes are still due on the 15th of this month. If the taxes are not paid on the 15th, penalties and interest will accrue.
